The Mission of Next Milestone

The mission of the Next Milestone program is to help early stage companies at the Downstate Biotech Incubator and BioBAT succeed.

To accomplish this, the Program Managers for Next Milestone help companies identify a high value project and choose an expert consultant to help them achieve this goal.  The goals include, but are not limited to, developing a communications strategy, growing team-building skills, generating patents, raising funds, or creating a regulatory or manufacturing strategy. Achieving these objectives open up new opportunities for growth.  

The Next Milestone program also facilitates continuous growth through educational workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities. These networking events help startups make connections with expert consultants, serial entrepreneurs, active investors and early stage life science legal and accounting professionals. The Next Milestone program is very successful!
